Today after breakfast, we left with Huang Shu Shu back to the Fresh Market. Eric's dad loves shopping for fresh fish at the market and it is his favorite thing to do when he's back in Taipei. The trip is usually always speedy. First stop is the fish inventory!
This time we ventured into the indoor market section where vendors sell vegetables and fruits.
Apples from Washington! A box for $50 US dollars - HOW EXPENSIVE!
It's so interesting to see the different kinds of fruit in Taiwan as well as the packaging of familiar fruits.
That night we ate our findings... and there was the biggest shrimp I've ever seen! The jumbo shrimp back in the states was no match for these monster shrimp! They were bigger than my iPhone!
Today it's okay to play with our food :)
Fruits after dinner is a healthy dessert. Yes, we are still playing with our food. Huang Shu Shu actually made this hat for Eric, who got really excited since he used to always wear one as a child.
A native Taiwanese fruit.
After dinner, the family went out for a quick tour of Taipei 101, which is the tallest building in Taipei. It's called 101 because it holds 101 floors.
This girl had a puppy in her lap. I felt scared for the puppy!
There's Taipei 101!
Walking down the street of downtown.
The trees are in wineglasses!
Then I did a ton of shopping to bring back to the States.
Have a good night!
